I still remember when I was sitting in the office, it was some kind of insurance office from Hungary. It had a branch in our country. And I graduated and got this boring job after I got fired from the first boring job. Let me tell you folks, this job was depressing. Waking up every morning at 7 am, driving to work, going back home and 3 pm or 4 pm to impress the boss.
Today I went to short bike trip with my new friend to golden Buddha statue in Pattaya. I dunno how to get there, because she drove my motorbike. But it was fun. Clicking with new girl is very easy. Thai girls and farangs can quickly become friends or even more. The subtle and kind nature of Thai women and aggressive, angry look farangs, kind of match.
I just recorded this video today where you can see how to open durian fruit, some call it the king of all fruits. It tastes quite good. It does not smell at all. It has a specific smell, some say it smells like old socks, but that is just not true. Maybe they ate old durian, that was rotten inside.
Durian, in fact, smells very nice, and it tasted good too. I used to eat it everyday. However, it kind of gets boring. Many Thai people eat it regularly. It is high caloric fruit, and some say, it can be dangerous if consumed in large quantities.
So I visited this restaurant today. I wanted to test it out. It had a good vibe if you look at it from outside. The restaurant is kind of posh. You can take your girlfriend here and have a good candle kind of date. But order 3 meals for each to fill your stomach. I thought wow; this is a pleasant place. Then the disappointments start coming. First, the staff was always hurrying. Like they are sprinting over hurdles and not serving in a posh wanna to be restaurant. I ordered water bottle, and they bring you this cheap glass imitation bottle. What a disgrace.
Now I know why an iPhone is expensive. Because it works. I used to have a Nokia phone, and it sucked big time. Nothing worked. I bought it to use with Nokia maps when I stayed in Bali Indonesia. Maps with Nokia worked for about a week then I could not get a signal anymore. The phone was just rubbish.
But iPhone is so much different. Even though the camera and picture quality is pretty bad, this phone rocks. It is a very well-built device. I downloaded many different Apps and they rock.
Recently, I visited Cambodia. I had to do my visa run. So I stayed in Cambodia for six days. Let me tell you this was a unique experience. First people are very poor in Cambodia. For God sake, they use horses, donkeys to transfer their daily goods. These are fruits, vegetables, bags of rice and other stuff. I stayed in a small city near to the Thailand's border.
Two months ago I came across the acupuncture clinic in Bangkok Thailand. Immediately, I had to try out how the treatment works. So I went to the Chinese hospital in Bangkok. I have never seen a hospital like that my life. Each floor has its own Chinese doctors who practice Chinese medicine.
I had a wonderful time in London. It was cold, different than Thailand. I lived there 6 months, just traveling around, doing some marketing coaching. Few companies wanted to hire me, but I knew I was a free spirit, so I declined. I had numerous images, videos that I shot in London, but I reformatted my hard disk. So only three images are left :(. I was really pissed. I even took the computer to computer shop, and they tried to save the whole folder of images. They failed.
Well, I had to wait for a plane to take me back to Thailand. So I was sitting in front of the Venice train station and look at people. I took some shots of course. Surprisingly, there were a lot of Asian folks all over the Venice. I would say 25 % or even more of the total people there. I guess Caucasians are the not the only people who like to travel right? I saw a lot of Japanese people, Koreans, and Chinese.
