Now I know why an iPhone is expensive. Because it works. I used to have a Nokia phone, and it sucked big time. Nothing worked. I bought it to use with Nokia maps when I stayed in Bali Indonesia. Maps with Nokia worked for about a week then I could not get a signal anymore. The phone was just rubbish.
But iPhone is so much different. Even though the camera and picture quality is pretty bad, this phone rocks. It is a very well-built device. I downloaded many different Apps and they rock.
The phone just rocks. Bangkok GPS map works wonderful. I used a car navigation system before, I tried to use it when I was walking in Vienna Austria but it did not work outside the car.
But iPhone works, it is perfect for using the navigation and maps when walking around the Bangkok. I downloaded the maps for the whole South Asia. I will never get lost again in Singapore, Bali. The compass built in iPhone shows you which direction to go.
And finding the signal is immediate. With Nokia maps, you had to wait for 5 minutes or more to get a GPS signal. I remember I was driving around Bali like crazy trying to get a GPS signal.
My prayers are finally answered. This phone is perfect for GPS navigation, for talking with a Thai girl who does not speak English, taking quick pictures, playing games on the subway etc. Bravo APPLE it is worth every penny.
